IN | PORT ® Languages is a Berlin-based company that offers language courses, language exams, consulting and publishing products – and takes data protection seriously.
In our industry, trust and therefore confidentiality and data protection are very important. On the occasion of the entry into force of the General Data Protection Regulation on 25 May 2018, we have created this portal to provide our customers and website visitors with comprehensive and transparent information on the use and security of personal data. You can do this by clicking on the links below.
To do this, we first put in simple words on one page (click here) some of the most important aspects. The page deals with the fact that we do not collect and store many data at all, and sets out how we deal with the subject of encryption and particularly sensitive data.
However, these explanations do not reflect all the demands of the European legislator. In a detailed presentation (click here), we explain how we process data, including e-mails, in our general business operations, and what rights you have in that regard.
For our websites, we provide a separate Privacy Policy page (click), because data are collected on websites mainly for technical reasons, or for analysis purposes – whereby you remain pseudonym for us.
We also maintain a web-driven certificate verification service, which a different privacy policy applies to (click).
